Brand new album from acclaimed guitar-pop trio The Goon Sax, available September 14th on Chapter Music via Inertia. We're Not Talking shows how much can change between the ages of 17 and 19. It's a record that takes the enthusiasms of youth and twists them into darker, more sophisticated shapes. Recorded with James Cecil and Cameron Bird (Architecture in Helsinki). Features the singles “She Knows” and “Make Time 4 Love”, which have seen additions at Double J, 2ser and rage. We’re Not Talking has received critical acclaim, with rave reviews released in Uncut, MOJO and Loud and Quiet already! Follows 2016 debut Up To Anything, which saw their brand of awkwardly transcendent teenage guitar pop took them into end of year lists for BBC 6Music, Billboard and Rough Trade, and earned them raves from The Guardian, Pitchfork, & SPIN. The Goon Sax have toured the United States, UK, and Europe, perform at Meredith and Laneway Festival, and support the likes of Angel Olsen, Perfume Genius and Protomartyr.
