White Whale Records was an LA based Independent label founded by Ted Feigin and Lee Lasseff in 1965. They are best known for being the record label for The Turtles and numerous one-hit wonder bands. The Land of Sensations and Delights: The Psych Pop Sounds of White Whale Records contains 26 hits and rarities from the imprint. It features artists like Warren Zevon's first band Lyme & Cybelle, Jim Ford, JK & Co, Nino Tempo & April Stevens and more. The album chronicles 5 years of psych-pop released between 1965 1970 and is being released on CD and a limited edition double LP (2,000 copies worldwide) that is packaged in a gatefold sleeve
