Mushroom Hour Half Hour is an Experimental Recording Imprint founded in Johannesburg, South Africa. With their ears to the streets, they catch cutting edge sounds as they come into being with their mobile recording studio, as the recently released debut albums of percussionist Thabang Tabane, guitar savant Sibusile Xaba and revolving recording ensemble SPAZA can attest to.Lorne Balfe [MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT, THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, CHURCHILL] is a Grammy Award-winning, EMMY and BAFTA nominated composer. An entirely improvised album recorded live, in one take, featuring a once-off ensemble of Johannesburg-based avantgarde musicians.
