General Patton Vs. The X-Ecutioners | Indie Exclusive LP

2024 celebrates 25 years of iconic independent record label Ipecac Recordings. Founded by Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross) and Greg Werckman, it has been” a home to Mike Patton’s eclectic musical collaborations as well as a place where bands we admire have the freedom to release music they might not be able to, or want to, release on other labels”. In celebration of such a milestone, 2005 release General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners is receiving its first ever pressing to vinyl. The collaboration came about after both factions performed a few improvisational live shows together. With the sweet scent of chemistry soon wafting through the air, it was decided to take it a step further - collaborate on a full-on recording. What you get are 23 tracks that approximate a head-on collision between hip-hop and the wild and wacky world of Ipecac
