French Recital For Clarinet And Harp, Vol II

The second volume of French works for clarinet and harp featuring works by Jean-Baptiste Bedart, Paul Veronge de la Nux, Gabriel Pierne, Serge Lancen and Laurent Coulomb. Jean-Baptiste Bedart's (1758-1815) Duo Concertante for clarinet and harp is in three movements and is his 56th composition, composed near the end of his life. The delight and agility of the harp, demonstrates the style galant of this lovely piece of music, and reminds us of clarinet compositions by contemporary composers such as Francois Devienne Jean-Xavier Lefevre or Charles Duvernoy.
