Von Spar

German act VON SPARR are inspired by 70's Krautrock, Fluxus art, Minimal Music, early Trip Hop and black metal. Their second album, which is made up of two 20-minutes tracks, combines the spirit of exploration of CAN and KRAFTWERK with the conceptual aesthetics of LIGETI (modernist composer who's work was used in the film '2001: A Space Odyssey') and STEVE REICH and the techniques of dark, psychedelic multi-layering as used by NEUROSIS or GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR.
