In the case of Invasion, with its multiple interlocking storylines and wide emotional range, I had to invent multiple musical worlds, and that meant multiple tools. I've used the orchestra in its traditional line-up but also infused it electronically, I have a variety of different vintage synthesizers and processing tools plus solo piano and cello as mine.”
