From An Empty Room

This recording consists of those works played during lockdown, both those from the classic solo violin repertoire such as Telemann and Prokofiev, and also those by contemporary composers Sally Beamish, James Francis Brown, Lyell Creswell, David Matthews and Errollyn Wallen. Some of these pieces were written especially for Sara, and appear here as premiere recordings. One was even a lockdown commission.
