Matchbook | Anniversary Edition : 30th

To celebrate three decades since Ian Moss launched his post-Cold Chisel career with the debut solo album Matchbook, the multi-platinum and award-winning album will now be reissued with a bonus collection of never before released live recordings and rare B-sides. Matchbook 30th Anniversary expands the original album by including nine songs recorded at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion in November 1989. The set includes Matchbook singles Tucker’s Daughter, Telephone Booth and Mr Rain, as well as an epic 10-minute rendition of Cold Chisel’s Bow River. A number of B-sides from the Matchbook era will also be included in the collection: a cover of jazz standard Angel Eyes, the Don Walker co-write The Dummy and Ian’s self-penned Islands and Answermachine Blues.
