The album features the film's original songs composed by Jeff Herriott & director S. Craig Zahler (Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99) The film's music has an authentic soul sound, stylistically spanning late '60s to early '80s, composed and produced by Jeff Herriott and Zahler and enlisting the vocal talent that appeared to great effect on the Brawl in Cell Block 99 soundtrack - soul icons Butch Tavares and The O'Jays featuring Eddie Levert and Walter Williams and newcomer Adi Armour. Dragged Across Concrete is written and directed by Zahler and stars Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn & Tory Kittles.
