All Things Heavy

Hypnotic spectral folk from Berlin by way of Canada and New Zealand. Mynolia (aka Maja Presnell) writes songs to fill the void between relief and discomfort, drawn to connect and work things out through melodies and words. Inhabiting some point along the axis that joins Feist and Weyes Blood with Pentangle and Joan Baez, All Things Heavy is her debut and a collection of songs from various Berlin sessions. I dont want to tell anyone what to think or feel experiencing this album, but to me (it) is just a surrender, when everything is too heavy, sometimes those dream moments offer the biggest leaps, themost clarity.
