In a small town, Norman (Brenton Thwaites), a young deputy, covers up a murder to save his reckles brother Ray (Ben Robson). But neither of the young men are prepared for the passionate romance that blossoms between Norman and the victim's younger sister, Frances (Alycia Debnam-Carey). As the murder investigation intensifies, family bonds are tested as we descend into the depths of morality and loyalty, forced to bear witness to the violent separation of flesh and blood.
