Over two decades and nine studio albums into a storied career, which has helped define American roots reggae, GROUNDATION is back with their 10th studio album, ONE ROCK, which keeps their legend alive and pushes their sound and spirit ever forward. Harrison Stafford leads the current line up of the band through 9 intense songs with complex arrangements, moving melodies, and lyrics that touch on the human condition, human spirit, and the state of the world. Always a group to respect their elders and forebears, Groundation makes history by bringing together the legendary reggae vocal groups Israel Vibration and The Abyssinians on one track, while also working with the Congos on another. As with all Groundation releases, this was recorded strictly analog to 2 tape, with Jim Fox (Lion and Fox Studios) recording and mixing. The vinyl version of the album is printed in a gorgeous gatefold jacket on 180 gram vinyl.
